Enniskerry is a beautiful relaxing area to visit, lots to see and do. Powerscourt House and Gardens is certainly worth a visit as is the lovely Powerscourt House Hotel. While taking a walk around Enniskerry don't forget to call into one of the lovely coffee shops and if you fancy a relaxing drink or food in the evening, drop into the Enniskerry Inn. Johnnie Fox's pub is something not to be missed when in this area, the food is delicious & the atmosphere in this pub is very enjoyable. Enniskerry is a charming little village just a few miles outside Dublin in the foothills of the mountains. It has a wonderful antique shop with a friendly and knowledgeable proprietor, a selection of pubs and cafés, and a handful of gift shops. Busy, pretty but few facilities on offer. Summer hill house hotel was a big let down, from the numerous sets of keys not working in the door to the dusty cobweb surroundings and poor food, it was definitely not a place I would recommend to anyone!!!!!Guest review byAngelaIreland

Enniskerry Inn I can only complement every thing, from the moment myself and 14 yr old grand daughter arrived, staff really friendly, food really nice and good choices on menu. They do not serve breakfast but that was alright we ate in a lovely cafe called Poppie's. The hotel was a buzz of activity in a positive way, no shortage of staff offering to help in some way shape or form. Great breakfast spread each day and quality of the food was great.
