A hidden gem in Rosscommon...made special by the attentive staff...ive travelled far and wide and you wont meet nicer people than I did in this hotel!!! the one thing that stood out to me which is very important in these times of protecting our children was children was to be accompanied by adults in the lift!!! We liked to stay Lisalway Country Lodge. It was incredible nice suit, comfortable bed, nice bath, Spotlessly cleaned everything. Including breakfast was perfect with homemade bread and fruit salad. From the moment you go in, you are treated like part of the family. Beautiful peaceful surroundings. A lovely spacious room with en-suite shower room. Nothing is too much trouble for Ron and Maureen, who are great hosts. The breakfast choice is excellent- pastries, pancakes, fresh fruit, cereals as well as the full Irish. I will also miss being greeted by Bonnie, Clyde and Bailey their beautiful labrador retrievers. With my own family living nearby I hope to return again, and wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else.
