Keel is a beautiful place on Achill Island with amazing beaches stunning views peace & tranquility. The people are very hospitable & friendly. Lovely bar resturant Amesthyst where we dined and had the most delicious meal & drinks. Plenty coffee food trucks and lovely cafe called the Beehive. These were all within walking distance of where we stayed. You can easily cycle or drive around Keel & Achill Island. If you like sheep & baby lambs you won’t be dissapointed they are all over the island 🙂Keem beach is a few miles from Keel and we’ll worth a visit. The scenery was unbelievably beautiful. I felt as though I were on another planet. The free range sheep are everywhere, so drive slowly. They ran right up to my car. We were beyond impressed with the place.The owners met us on arrival and complied 100% with covid regulations We were shown to our suite The place was impeccable, Breakfast next morning was above 5 star.. Service was efficient and personal to a most impressive level. We were served tea and coffee in the garden after breakfast, which was most appreciated, giving us relaxation time on fabulous sun loungers. We had an evening meal , which was un-describable The food was superb, cooked to perfection. We had an amazing stay Will we return ??? YES. DEFINITELY 👍Guest review byJimIreland

Stunning views and the most welcoming hosts, Clodagh was such a gem and couldn’t do enough for myself and my daughter. Great selection of pastries, scones, fruit and some hot dishes for breakfast helped set us up for our day’s adventure's. Everything was provided - towels, kitchenware, etc - together with a welcoming tray of home-made scones, and fresh milk and orange juice in the decent-sized fridge. Situated less than five minutes from Keel beach, and the local stores, and The Beehive Craft Centre (to visit is an absolute MUST).
