    We were not impressed.

We were not impressed. The price does not match the quality of the room. The room and the bathroom are extremely small ( esp the toilet) and the location is not ideal. I am not sure why it is called a Spa Hotel because it is not. The staff was not welcoming and I would have to say I expected more.

Grifeen park is lovely The area is quiet

Grifeen park is lovely The area is quiet The traffic nearby can be substantial The M50 toll starts just after you join it so you get caught with the charges (whereas a bit closer to Dublin it may not apply)

The food was excellent and the staff are outstanding.

The food was excellent and the staff are outstanding. Bus stop outside hotel Is a great asset as bus travel is very cheap and easy around dublin.. Had to ask for tea/ coffee to be replenished after the first night and bed making skills of the maid left a bit to be desired as they didn't straighten the bottom sheet of the bed. Guinness storehouse is superb and Punchestown horse racing was very good too. Buskers bar in the temple bar area had great live acts on a day everyday ax well as showing all sports downstairs. We had premier league footy , rugby and fq all on at the same time. Temple bar area of town is buzzing all of the time

I had stayed in this hotel in the past.

I had stayed in this hotel in the past. Location is good if you want to get on the N6 but it is in need of updating. To be fair, work has commenced but needs to continue. Staff were fabulous and helpful but some areas need up grade. Breakfast ok but could be more varied. Rooms very clean but part of hotel very dated. I look forward to returning when work completed.

Lucan is a beautiful place for a holiday... Lovely village by the river with friendly people, cute cafés, restaurants, artisan bakery, fruit and veg shop, Centra shop, amazing park (St. Catherine's) and walks, very central. All Dublin tourist attractions within half an hour's drive. Plenty to do whatever the weather and whatever you are interested in.

The house was so clean and host was lovely, helpful and they had snacks in the room, a microwave, mini fridge (stocked) and kettle it was a lovely touch. The bed was so comfortable and high quality bedding it was a home away from home. There was plugs on both sides of bed with lamps. Which for someone who has sleep apnea can be hard to come by in a hotel. The bathroom was spotless. Good communication before we arrive given directions where to park etc. Overall lovely stay.

This property is female only. Usually I stay in hotels, but spotted this bedroom for a reasonable price per night and that property be only for females. I had to travel for work and need a place to sleep only. I am really pleased with the room I had, a comfortable bed, nice and clean facilities, location, no distraction. Would recommend.

The hotel is dated and could do with some TLC. The room was very small, and the bed/ensuite was tiny. The window faced out the back of the hotel. I had asked for an upper-floor room at the front of the hotel. My request was never answered. The reception was very welcoming. Check-in was fine. Parking was good.

The room size was adequate. The surrounding area was lovely and the nearby village of Lucan is well worth a visit for eating out and buying basics.
