There is a Good CarPark, but if you don't have a Car, you can hire a GoCar, or get one of the Many Public Buses. Dublin bus has the 24hr E1 service from Bray to Ballymun, through the City Centre, using the Stillorgan Road or the E2 from Dun Laoire to Finglas. Aircoach stops right outside. Stillorgan is predominantly a suburban, residential area so not really for tourists. However it is easily accessible to the city center by bus and also you can take a 15 minute or so walk to the Luas (light rail system) which also brings you to the city center or even Dundrum shopping center which has cinemas, restaurants and mini golf for those rainy days with the kids.Guest review byGurakanFrance - 8.0

Fabulous old hotel with lots of well preserved history. Easy to reach from the N11 coming from the Motorway. Area is lovely and peaceful, had to stay there because of the nearby Embassy which is reachable by walking.Guest review byReginaIreland - 2.0

The room was very run down and very old fashioned. Dont know how it has a 5 star rating. I've stayed in 4 star nicer and more modern than it. The noise level was crazy. People from a wedding going in and out if eachothers rooms through the night. We reported it by phone to the duty manager. He offered us a different room but that long into the night we just didn't want too. He also said there was no noise so it was like he was saying we were lying. Put at a drafty terrible table for dinner. Asked to be moved.told no and then witnessed other residents being moved when they asked could they. Will not return.Guest review bylouiseIreland

The hotel is lovely—spotlessly clean every time we visit. It's in a quiet, peaceful location but still really convenient, whether you're heading into Dublin or down to the seaside. The beds are fantastic with perfect mattresses that guarantee a great night’s sleep. And the breakfast is absolutely delicious—plenty of choice and always fresh. We’ll definitely be back next year! There was no road noise, which is always a big plus. The bar area was really beautiful and relaxing. A little price with drinks, but that's Dublin's prices.
