Hot water in the shower: the only hotel that had it in three weeks. Helpful staff: our first room didn't have internet and was quite hot. We were moved to a cooler room where we were online. Cooled drinking water was available in the foyer. A kettle was great. It was close to the station, the bus station and a hotel that sold beer in a room that had windows and didn't look like a 70's disco. It was the best hotel of our three week stay in India, and the cheapest. Close to a number of reasonable eating places.

The staff were very supportive. My mother fell ill (fever) and they staff was very kind and arranged for doctor assistance. Excellent staff and the room was very good and neat. Breakfast was ok.
