The location was beautiful. Right beside the beach and surrounded by tropical vegetation. Quiet, residential neighbourhood. Lovely sunsets. Perfect for a retreat from busy life. Host and his family were exceptionally kind and helpful.a real insight into Keralan life. Fishermen work nearby. A big garden with a hammock. Very relaxing. Good wifi if needed. Cannot recommend Vismaya enough! The food was the best we ate in India, everything was so fresh and there were beautiful flowers everywhere. Loved spotting chameleons and fireflies with Vinod!

    The host was wonderfull, the room was beutifull and the...

    The host was wonderfull, the room was beutifull and the place and neighborhood was quiet. There was no other turists around. The host cooked a good fish dinner for us and also made tea and coffe when we needed it (the latter for free). The beach close by is not really for swimming as the waves are to large and nobody else is swimming. It was a bit hot so we needed AC during the night which costed additional 350 Rs. This place is really worth a visit if you like quiet beuty. The host also helped arranging local tranport at good prices.
