I booked one room for 2 nights but wasn't able to arrive until the second night. I arrived on the second night with friends who also wanted to book a room there. Instead of charging for the second room, they gave it to us for free in lieu of the first nights accommodation (2 rooms for 1 night instead of 1 room for 2 nights). I was very surprised by their generosity as it was my fault that I couldn't arrive the first night. The food was also incredible. Excellent quality and the quantity was insane. It's even more impressive when considering the remotness of the hotel. By far the best accommodation I stayed at during my entire holiday throughout India and Nepal. The customer service couldn't have been better.

Excellent hotel to stay fir 2-3 days tour program in Nubra valley . From Back side ( balcony) of hotel room both hill and flower garden view were excellent. Food was also very good . we got some dishes cooked as per our likings.

I had an exceptional stay at Organic Village Retreat .From the warm Welcome to the impeccable service everything exceeded my expatiations. The Rooms are spacious and beautifully designed and well equipped with modern amenities .The Dining experience was outstanding, offering a variety of delicious dishes and overall hospitality made my visit truly memorable . The Stone Herge Hotel in Hunder in the Nubra Valley is a wonderful place to relax. The staff are extremely friendly and always willing to help, making you feel special from the moment you arrive. The restaurant deserves special mention – the food is delicious and the atmosphere is very pleasant. The staff takes care of every detail, making every meal a real pleasure. The hotel and restaurant are located in the picturesque mountainous area of Hunder in the Nubra Valley, which means that a stay here is not only about comfort and tasty food, but also unforgettable views and a unique atmosphere. Shabir welcomed us warmly and helped us in every possible way to make our stay comfortable. The location though remote is beautiful and very relaxing. The cottages we’re comfortable and well heated. The surrounding view was fabulous. Food was very good with local items also included. Evening, we did bonfire and enjoyed the Stargazing session.We recommend everyone to stay at this resort and will be back soon.
