The atmosphere of the place was GREAT! There was a problem with our wifi and the staff (he was Asian , maybe from Thailand or Vietnam) was extremely helpful and courteous THANK YOU SO MUCH once again !!

The hotel was close to the old center of the city. Due to slight overbooking that day, we received a room in higher standard. It was great. Breakfast was really nice too. We stayed just for one night but would stay again if we visit Iceland once more.

Nice suits on the 20th floor with a fantastic view of the ocean. The bed and pillows were very comfy. Breakfast in the room was delicious and too much for us :) A self-service bar with a free coffee/tee is an excellent complimentary. We enjoyed our stay here.

Most comfortable beds, pillows and duvet and the quietest nights sleep in a hotel ever. Staff super friendly, bar a perfect chilled out jazzy vibe to start/end a night. Short walk to the action of the city centre. Fab view of the mountains and we even caught the Northern Lights from our balcony!

    ive already answered these questions twice. we paid for a superior room and got one. Neighborhood is out of the way but has great views and animals and is near the road to Costco. we spent 2 weeks driving the entire island and enjoyed it. This place has a theme tastefully done and modern amenities.The Viking Hotel restaurant where you check -in has a nice themed restaurant good food and service.

    Hlid Fisherman's Village had lots of "viking" character with some very interesting maritime realia, close proximity to Icelandic horses, heritage chickens, a koi pond, cedar sauna and two rooftop hot tubs. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable and the view was to the sea.
