We arrived a the most majestic, magical place we didn’t know existed. We loved arriving at the hotel and being greeted by a beautiful sheep dog who wanted to play with a smal stone and seemed really well trained. When we walked into the hotel, we were immediately greeted by friendly staff who took out bags and brought them to our room after showing us the way and introducing us to the hotel and it’s facilities. Staff were extended friendly. Additionally, there was a friendly white cat who became affectionate as we were sat outside cooling off from the sauna, who also greeted us at breakfast in the morning by sitting outside the window next to out table. We loved every single second. It felt like a real home rather than a hotel.

I really liked our apartment! It was very comfortable, warm, and tidy. It had a very spacious bathroom. The kitchen was fully equipped which was a big advantage for us. Boutique Hotel Anna also offers hot tubs and the thing we didn't expect was the bathrobes available for us as well, which was very nice. Tasty breakfast. I also like the surroundings :)

Everything! Anna was super helpful. We make check in at 10:30 pm and when we arrive Anna has left instructions to find our room plus a lot of delicacies for free. The room was fantastic and the location beyond every imagination! I will back for sure... so my rate is 20 not 10!

Everything was just perfect. The cottage is located in a beautiful scenery and it has everything you need. It’s small but very comfortable. The owner greeted us very warmly and we just loved their dogs, they are so cute😍 We would love to stay there longer but we already had next accomodations booked. The highlight for me was to wake up, open the window/door and get a direct sight of the Eyjafjallajökull and the Vestmannaeyjar. The owner was very friendly, enjoyed to have conversion with me and gave me some of his printed landscape photos as a spontaneous present.

We loved staying there. The cabin is modern furbished, has everything you need. But the best thing for us was relaxing in the jacuzzi and watching the northern lights in front of us.

After reading some mixed reviews I was unsure what to expect. Upon arrival I was pleasantly surprised. I'm quite sure the negative reviews are written by complete morons. I'd read that the toilets were really far away, they are not. The main building is well equipped, lots of toilets with big modern bathrooms. I'd read that there were a lot of flies, well yes there are, but this place is in a long grassy field, only an idiot would complain about that. Also read about someone shouting at you if you parked in the wrong place, that didn't happen. Also value for money is great. It might be expensive compared to your home country, but this is Iceland, everything costs more. If you don't like the price travel to a cheaper country. In my experience these bad comments usually come from American travellers, who have a culture of being fussy, demanding and rude to all the service industry. Check in was easy, beds were comfortable, and the place was very warm with the heater on, which was NOT noisy.
