The staff are very friendly and helpful. Love them all. I stayed for 2 nights and loved every minute of it. Big thanks to the teams of housekeeping, the room was spotless. I ran into them in the middle of the day and I am impressed how much resources they put into this part, which I value the most.

The proximity to the airport (just walk across a parking lot) is unparalleled. At the same time it's a bit too pricey for what they offer, however, it's not a tourist trap - they do have clean premises and the breakfast is decent as well.

Our room was upgraded to a suite. We thanked the receptionist and mentioned to her how wonderful that was as it was our 30th wedding anniversary. We had also mentioned we would be getting a bite to eat in the restaurant, she told the staff in the restaurant and they prepared a dessert for us with fireworks in it, a very classy act. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

    Gardur is a convenient location close to the airport. The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable, The access was easy with no stairs for brining in luggage. I liked the small town and visiting the lighthouses nearby. I enjoyed my stay here and would stay here again.

    Loved this hotel! very different to the other accom we stayed in during out Icelandic adventure - had a very Twin Peaks vibe which we loved (even put the soundtrack on as we were chilling in our wooden cabin type of room!). Very homely, friendly staff, good breakfast. Love that they also provide an aurora wake up call (up to a certain time), we headed out after midnight and were lucky to see them. Close vicinity to the airport, would happily stay here again!

    The Bay View apartment is a very special place, a big apartment with great style at the sea side. Unforgettable is the sight from the hot tub to the bay, but also the living room and kitchen are simply extraordinary. Gardur is a great base to visit the Reykjanes peninsula and as location nearby the airport. We loved it- and would like to come back!

    We booked the apartments after a week in a Campervan and it couldn’t have been more perfect for a final night in Iceland! The interior is SO stylish and everything is thought of, from the spices in the kitchen to extra toiletries in the bathroom! Watching the snow come down whilst sat in the hot tub was the icing on the cake.

    Clean, large room with nice view of the sea and lighthouse. Staff very friendly and good basic breakfast. Shower facilities good and room facilities (coffee making, tv and wifi) good too. Comfortable stay in nice hotel. Very close to airport and Keflavík.
