We were upgraded to one of the brand new apartments and it was fantastic. The apartment had a spacious kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. Everything was new and clean and the room was warm. The hostess was lovely and prepared a delicious dinner out of local products from the farm just for us. The farm is located in a beautiful area by the Lagarfljót lake with lots of trees and amazing nature all around. Bigger town Egilsstadir is only 15min away by car. Nelson the cat was always checking on us:) wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Very beautiful hotel, the staff was very helpful and kind. The room is very well furnished and clean.

Fabulous cabin. So well stocked ( yoga mat for me, coffee machine for husband). Everything has been thought of to ensure your comfort. Host came to greet us personally ( a first for me and I’ve booked many places like this) and came to check everything was fine a couple days into our trip. Sauna and hot tub amazing. No where can be more highly recommended.

Very quiet and natural location (trees and lake), wood cottages with kichinette, coffee and tea in the room, very good breafast (extra 2900 isk/pers), parking possible in front of the cottage.
