Great location, peacefully. Reception staff was ok but restaurant staff exceeded our expectations. Evening meal was superb. Breakfast was the best I ever had. Would definitely stay another night but price was almost doubled.

The central location is brilliant. The view of the square from the balcony was amazing. The room was lovely and likewise the bathroom. We had breakfast on one morning in the restaurant, which was fantastic. Such a wonderful choice. I would stay in Hotel La Cisterna again in a heartbeat! Thank you! We also had a fantastic wine-tasting experience with Giorgia in the Fontanaleone shop to the left of the hotel on the square. A highlight of our stay in San Gimignano!

We had a wonderfully stay. It was lovely to get to know Donatella, her husband and the family that run the hotel. They all went out of their way to make our stay unforgettable. Also, thanks to Andrea, Julia, Aliss and Valentina that went out of their way to met all our needs with a smile. We were sad to leave as this family made us really feel welcome and at home.
