Access is a total nightmare, it involves using a link on a mobile telephone that didn’t work. No reception, an incredibly steep staircase of 30 steps up to the suite door and it’s not a suite, it’s a sitting area with a mezzanine sleeping area. The small historic town of Carovigno is easily seen within a few hours. The castle is worth a visit, as are the churches. There are some amazing restaurants too. Carovigno is best accessed by car, for two reasons: one, the railway station is 7 kilometres from the town and two, there are some beautiful beaches to visit that are easily reached by car but not by public transport.Guest review byMarkUnited Kingdom

Lovely villa with secure parking and outside area suitable for dogs and families. Very comfortable. Lovely outside terrace to sit on. Windows had mosquito screens so we could have the windows open to let in cooling breeze. Beautifully decorated with all amenities. It has stairs but Pietro helped with bags. Close to restaurants, cafes old centre and small deli. Carovigno is quiet during the day but comes to life at night. Great air conditioning, has washing machine with plenty of space to hang washing. Carovigno has a very charming historic centre. The apartment is very clean and has excellent water pressure. Super responsive owner!
