Everything was perfect, feels like the true tuscan vacation. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Very good breakfast and all areas including the room was very clean at all times. Also got complimentary facial and a wine as a gift. I also booked a neck and back massage that was absolutely divine. Will definitely be coming back. It was worth every penny spend.

I loved this hotel! The location was excellent. Far enough away from the town to enjoy the countryside and quiet. But close enough to walk into the town for dinner or wine tasting. The rooms and property are so cute, comfortable, and well equipped. The breakfast was delicious. The staff is very kind and helpful. Also there is a bar in the lobby that has good hours and good wine. I will definitely be back!

    The place feels like a little castle, full of charm and...

    The place feels like a little castle, full of charm and character. The hosts were incredibly kind and waited for us until late at night to give us the keys and explain everything about the surroundings. Breakfast was nice, and everyone we met was genuinely friendly and welcoming. The view is absolutely outstanding. There are also plenty of great restaurants nearby for dinner, which made our evenings even more enjoyable. We didn’t use the pool since it was already out of season and quite cold.

    Castellina in Chianti is a great place to stay in the Heart of Chianti; a lovely town with a great selection of restaurants from pizza to pasta to Florentine steaks! Not over touristy and well worth a visit. We were staying on the Lilliano estate where we were well looked after even at the start of harvesting when life gets busy!

    Castellina in Chianti is a beautiful village. Lovely wine farms to visit. It is a great location for a 30 minute drive into Siena or San Gimignano and lots of other charming Tuscan villages. A great place to relax and enjoy the scenery.

    Castellina is an excellent place to visit. A small but high quality location. Pleasant buildings and a variety of restaurants. All of our shopping needs were satisfied, particularly at the COOP in the main centre.

    The location was perfect!

    The location was perfect! Close to town yet serene and quiet! Beautiful setting with the vineyards. The staff could not be more helpful and welcoming! It was what I picture when I think of an Italian villa and romantic getaway!!!!

    Quiet hill town with lots of amenities.

    Quiet hill town with lots of amenities. Well located to visit other towns if you are willing to drive. Pay VERY close attention to the information sent by the hotel about luggage drop off and pick up. Steep fines for driving into the old town if not done per instructions and timing.

    Beautiful Tuscan charm hotel, fabulous staff, fabulous restaurant, amazing views. Whilst the town is about 12km from the hotel and lovely to visit and have a coffee and pastry in Bar Italia or eat and the many restaurants available, you don’t really need to eat out at the restaurant is such a high quality and you get to watch the sunset which is incredible. The pool is a great welcome in the summer heat and the views over the vineyards simply stunning . We met people who back every year so that’s says it all.

    I'm not giving scores normally on booking but after stay at that hotel i decided to do so. Hotel is perfect location of Tuscan climate. Is located in the place of old village. There is everything starting from pool and ending to small church. We were in rook which in close location is lieaving swallows. Surrounded with wineyards located in close location to San Gimigiano and Monteriggioni. I recomend this very much and if it will be possible I will return.

    The farmhouse is walking distance from the centre of Castellina with beautiful views and sunsets. It is well equipped and any requests which we had for additional equipment and fresh towels were dealt with immediately. There is a great pool with plenty of sun loungers and we were able to use the spa facilities at the Hotel too which was a real bonus at the end of our daily hikes.
