Gemona del Friuli is a gem between the mountains and the river Tagliamento. It's a great location for lovers of hiking, biking, paragliding and other sports. The room was clean and had air conditioning, which was great given the hot weather. It’s fine for one night, but I probably wouldn’t want to stay longer. Breakfast was pretty good by Italian standards—we had scrambled eggs, ham, and a good croissant, along with plenty of other options. A big plus is the large parking area in the hotel courtyard, which is really convenient and spacious. They were friendly when we arrived an hour late. It was easy to communicate in English. What took our breath away was how wonderful the hosts were to our little daughter who had her birthday the next day. Grazie mile! The breakfast was excellent. The rooms and beds and the whole hotel are very modern and comfortable. It was a real treat to stay for 1 night and we wish we could stay longer. We definitely recommend this accomodation 100%.
