The best place in Sardinia.
The best place in Sardinia. Cute Italian town with picturesque houses, great restaurants and the best gelato. We loved going from beach to beach, they all possess different qualities, but they are all lovely with the bluest water I’ve seen. You definitely need a car or a Vespa to get the best experience. The waters surrounding La Maddalena are stunning, the closest to the Caribbean I have experienced in the Mediterranean. La Maddalena is relatively small and easy to get around with a car. Depending on where you are staying, beaches may be within walking distance. La Maddalena is such a beautiful island, loved the geology of the island and felt very comfortable in the town. We were there 4 nights.
We were there 4 nights. We ate at the "off the beaten track" restaurants and a couple little pubs. It's easy to get around on foot or by car. Research boat tours before going, I think I would book a small sailboat tour next time as opposed to a large boat. Loved it, wish I had more time. If you can hire a car, I'd recommend that so you can get to all the beautiful beaches. Go for a sail tour also! So many options for restaurants. The room was clean, comfortable, with a great view to the pool as well as to the sea. Breakfast had various and good options for all tastes, and it was set near the pool. We had a car during our stay at Miralonga and the hotel's parking lot was super helpful for us. A shout out to the staff, super kind and solicit.
