This is a quiet little town at the start of May. Probably busier later in the year and would become overwhelmed with traffic. Few eating options, but a nice small sheltered beach. The accommodation is comfortable and a good size.
The accommodation is comfortable and a good size. The large balcony has a good view over the sea. The beach is 30-40 yards down steps. Giuseppe, the owner, is really helpful and determined his guests enjoy the area and it’s sights. His advice about Selinunte archaeological park and the auction at the fish market by the harbour was good. We didn’t know about the latter and it’s a fascinating element of local activity and culture to see. His restaurant recommendations were also good - Thank you!Guest review byTimUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Small and calm village.
Small and calm village. There is one shop and few good restaurants. We had everything what we needed. But for someone who needs more action could be boring after few days. The location is excellent, about a 10-minute walk from both the beach and the archaeological park. The room was clean and well-equipped. My host was very friendly. I found him immediately upon arrival, and we spoke in French. He provided information on transportation and sightseeing in the surrounding area and prepared a delicious and generous breakfast. Good but maybe not quite as good as Agrigento. Do get the transport between sites. Closeness to the sea and free beaches was great. Lots of options for eating close by.
