Our stay was wonderful! The hotel is cozy, clean, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was peaceful and pleasant. We had two amazing days and were completely satisfied with everything. We would definitely love to come back!

We spent 3 wonderful nights at Stella’s apartment and couldn’t be happier with our stay. The location is unbeatable – just steps away from the peaceful main square in Menaggio, close to grocery stores, the church, bus stop, gelato shops, and many great restaurants. The apartment is tastefully decorated, very clean, and fully equipped – air conditioning, heating, washing machine, dryer, ironing board, iron, kitchenette, and more. There’s also a small table and chairs outside – perfect for morning coffee. The neighborhood is quiet and relaxing. Communication with Stella was excellent – she responded instantly and gave helpful advice throughout our stay. Highly recommended! :)

A truly lovely stay. I especially enjoyed the small stream behind the house – the sound of flowing water added a special charm and peaceful atmosphere. It is extremely beautiful and comfortable. Large space with well equipped kitchen facilities. Location is convenient with walking distance to Menaggio ferry pier, groceries store is just 3mins away. Beautiful scenery and I cannot emphasise enough how good is their service, so helpful with all my questions and they reply prompt as much as possible. I would love to go back again next time!     We were only there for the last day of our holiday.

    We were only there for the last day of our holiday. It was a rather lovely place with a thriving piazza, restaurants and bars. In comparison to the other places we stayed, it was busier, but not a busy as Bellagio and another neighbouring town. We particularly enjoyed the boat excursion around the local shores, and the historic walking tour.

    Loved Menaggio - the location is right on Lake Como - plenty...

    Loved Menaggio - the location is right on Lake Como - plenty of eating options and all in easy walking distance. Prking is an issue though - in August anyway. Everyone in the town is very friendly. Having the ferry service at Menaggio is useful for getting easily to other towns on the Lake - much quicker than driving.

    Lovely town on Lake Como well located for visiting the central lake area using the regular ferries. We were able to visit Varenna, Bellagio and Lenno very easily and quickly. The town itself had character with a nice lively central piazza with lots of restaurants and a promenade, all only 5 minutes walk from the ferry port. Regular bus service around the lake enabled us to easily get to Como on departure to catch a train back to Milan.

    It's a beautiful town, but rather small, with limited options for children and adults. Our 8-year old daughter was bored after one day. We booked for 3 nights, but probably 1-2 days max would have been enough. We rented a boat and explored the lake, which I highly recommend. Shopping options are few. My wife had hoped to find a nice dress, there were only a couple of shops available. You have a few good restaurants, but it's also rather limited. Again, fine for 1-2 nights, but no longer. It's also not a great place to stay and visit surroundings, as traffic is bad to get in and out of the town center. You do have free parking in spots, but you need to get lucky, ideally arriving very early morning or very late at night.

    The most stunning location and the best town to stay in...

    The most stunning location and the best town to stay in while in lake como. Not to overcrowded with tourists and easy to access other towns via the ferry. We travelled to lots of local towns and felt Menaggio stood out as the best overall.

    Great location and rustic charm of the place. Room was kept clean and tidy. Bed was very comfortable. Close to ferry wharf and central base to visit places on Lake Como. The lift was handy with our room being on the 3rd floor (some older hotels only have stairs)
