The accommodation is in the centre of the village close to all ammenities. There are some lovely places to eat. Monti is an ideally located village from which to base yourself to explore the surrounding countryside which is spectacular and visiting the local castle and gaining insight into the past history of the region. Great building with very interresting period features and relaxed surroundings. There were a few good places to eat out providing some lovely choices and the quality of the food was excellent. Lovely peacefull location great for walks and scenary Monti has a very hospitable and welcoming feel .. would certainly visit again Travel by train to Florence, Pisa, Lucca for days out was straight forward and would reccomend this.Guest review byKennedyUnited Kingdom
