A simple B&B? Far from it. This was an outstanding place that felt more like a five star hotel. And our hosts Marco and Sabrina made us feel as we were at home. Since we walked the Via degli Dei, Marco offered us a pick up in Monzuno and also prepared a platter of italian food for us in the evening. The next morning we also got a lift back to Monzuno to continue our walk. Highly, highly recommended if you want to enjoy a piece of genuine italian contryside combined with excellent facilitys and great hospitality. Thanks Marco and Sabrina for making us feel at home.

This is a great accommodation option, set in the lovely mountains, on the Via Degli Dei and the German Gothic Line of World War 2. It is 5 kms from the train station at Vado, and 4kms from Monzuno. There are buses to both towns. For an inexpensive hot meal (takeaway) option, I would strongly recommend Sonia next door. You will need to book ahead and the host's will give you contact numbers. I tried all 3 accommodations at the residence - tent, bungalow, and apartment -, and they were all cozy and inexpensive. The host couple are most hospitable and helpful. Great value!     The location is awesome! You are directly in the center of Monzuno, next to bars/cafes and a very good restaurant. The bathroom already has shampoo and the house was very clean. Check-in works super fast, you have to go to the bar in front and they will give you the keys and show you the room.

    The location is great, the place is quiet, mostly because it is in the middle of nowhere. The hotel itself must have passed its most glorious days some time ago, the place surrounding the small houses with appartments do not suggest any luxury, on the contrary.

    After great breakfast host offered us a ride back to Monzuno. It was just a couple of kilometres but we were walking Via degli dei and it meant a lot to us. He even stoped at the store so my friend could get the phone charger he lost on the way.
