One of the prettiest wine villages in the Barbaresco region (although they are all quite lovely). Surrounded by vineyards and excellent high quality local restaurants in the old centre. A couple of great pizza restaurants in the main village down the hill for when you want something a bit simpler. Many local wine villages to visit by car, although it is possible to walk via the “sentieri” paths if you can find a good map (not easy!). Neive is one of the nicest villages in Italy and the capital of Barbaresco wine (together with the Barbaresco village itself) which together with Barolo wine are among the two best red wines in Italy. Nice hill side village. However tourist beware that food , wine and accommodation are over priced for what is a nice but not marvellous location when compared to what is available in other parts of Italy. In hindsight I think we should have avoided this region of Piemont.Guest review byDonal

It's a small and intimate structure, high about the surrounding landscape, with a breathtaking view of the Langhe from the garden, pool, and some rooms. It's very peaceful, and yet within easy reach of the center of Neive. The rooms are modern and comfortable; we loved ours, and we highly recommend getting one with a garden view. The B&B lies just below the centre of Neive, a short walk to the old town. It was so quiet to sleep and the room was spotless and comfy. Breakfast was beautifully laid out and with lots of choice (especially for Italy!). We felt very welcome and would certainly stay again (we would love to be there when warmer to enjoy breakfast outside too!). Marinela took very good care of me and even picked me up from the station since I don’t travel with a car. The view is amazing, the atmosphere is peaceful and bed comfortable!
