Beautiful small hilltop village (cca 200-300 people) Make sure you have a walk of the streets in the center. There is a small shop, a pub and even a bank office but for larger shopping you have to drive 10-15km (Lajattico, or La Rosa) . Lajatico and Peccioli are nice nearby towns with nice cultural events and open-air exhibitions during summer. (Cca 30 min dri ing) Volterra etruscian city is well worth a visit or the Cecine Aqua village with its 10 slides. (1hr driving) Lucca, Florance, Pisa, San Gimignano are also reachablle in 1-1.5 hrs, but be prepared for 20-30% longer drives than navigation software suggests (the roads are narrow and curvy and you can stuck behind a slower vehicle for 10-15 minutes)Guest review byCswCswHungary
