The apartment is well designed, clean, and well thought out with all the facilities and appliances you would require to live on your short holiday. The terrace was a pleasant surprise, a beautiful view of the lake and mountains where we enjoyed our breakfasts. Free parking nearby and despite being close to the main road is plesently quiet. The host is extremely hands-on, being willing to sort out the slightest issue at the drop of a hat. The first night, we arrived, was colder than we expected, and as a duvet had been overlooked for the apartment, we messaged Chiara about our concerns. She kindly offered many solutions, even being willing to drive 30 minutes at 11:30pm to bring us a duvet, but we said we could wait till the next day, and she kindly increased the temperature remotely on her phone. We would surely stay again.

The setting at the edge of the water was beautiful. Our balcony, just a few meters from the lake. All the amenities in the room were there. What was really a stand out for us was the incredible staff, especially Jéssica, Stefano in the restaurant where we had very nice options available to us (BTW, he makes the best cappuccinos ever) and at the reception desk as well Orietta. We have already recommended Hoel Meridiana to others, and if we ever go back to Lake Como, we would not consider staying any other place!

    When looking to book a hotel in the Lake Como area, we came...

    When looking to book a hotel in the Lake Como area, we came across Casale Bella Vista and loved the quaintness of the hotel, as well as the beautiful scenic views. We were not disappointed. Everything about our stay was lovely. The owner/manager of the hotel, Giovanna, was wonderful. She tended to our every need, making sure we were comfortable and well fed. We didn't realize, however, that it would have been more convenient to have our own vehicle when visiting Pianello Del Lario. We were traveling by train and bus and didn't know how far we would have to go to the hotel. However, after contacting Giovanna, she made arrangements for us to be picked up. She also reviewed our travel plans after leaving the hotel and suggested a more convenient, time saving, and cost saving plan to get to our next destination. She made all the arrangements for us. I consider her our "angel". I would definitely recommend this hotel not only for the scenic beauty and lovely accommodations, but also for the excellent customer service and management due to Giovanna's hard work and consideration of her hotel guests.

    Great location although a car is needed you can walk to the lake/bus stop in 10 minutes where you can pick up the ferry to visit towns on the lake or jump a bus, so on days you wish to leave the car behind you have good options to make the most of the area. Superb place to relax, take in the surroundings and explore.

    Instructions to reach the house are given through videos...

    Instructions to reach the house are given through videos made by the landlord. The keys are not delivered by anyone, there is a lock outside the house. The house is on the mountains, 2 hours away from Milan and 1.5 hour away from Como. The worst is that there is a door that connects the apartment with another apartment. Of course, there was no description of this or photo on booking.com. For this reason we left the house in some hours, we did not feel safe at all with this door inside the house, that was obviously locked but not safe! We lost all of our money and the landlord did not refund us, although we only stayed there for some hours! The booking was for 5 nights. Booking.com felt really sorry for our experience and tried to compensate us with their way.

    Everything was exceptional. The house has been recently renovated, the rooms are very comfortable and clean, from the location you have stunning views of the lake, the hosts are extremely kind and very attentive, and the breakfast is delicious, you are able to seat outside and enjoy the sun if the weather is good. I also wanted to add that they also provided me with gluten and lactose free products due to my intolerances. (Thank you so much for that Giovanna, really appreciated).

    Nice location in a small village. A small grocery store nearby (restricted opening times) and a walking distance to the beach, where there's two restaurants. Really nice views towards the lake from the front door and pool. Nice back terrace in the shadow for barbeque/outdoor breakfast etc. Air conditioning working well and useful during summer months. Well equipped kitchen and nicely decorated apartment.

    It was a remote, quiet part of Lake Como. There’s a great restaurant on the waterfront about 200metres away from here. The owner, Stefano, was lovely. Our WiFi wasn’t working at first and he got it sorted inside a day. He was very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to relax at lake Como.

    The hotel is outstanding, honestly one of the best ive ever been to. Beautiful location, food was superb, usually i don’t write reviews, but this place is exeptional. I would call it quite luxury. Water in swimming pool was too cold for me. Apart from that everything was 10/10.
