Nice beaches, plenty of fast food vendors, or dine-in restaurants if you prefer. Beaches were very clean, and locals very helpful. Prices were very reasonable too, with local shops providing local produce. For a real treat, try Cosimino Restaurant on Via Cosimo Albano; you can book a table overlooking the sea - its great food, and a fabulous atmosphere. It was not a noisy resort, in fact, we thought it was quiet, however, on weekends there was live music after dark. To get to the nearest beach from the hotel takes 20-35 min. Parking is expensive and we got a ticket for 30 euros just to unload the car. Hard to find the hotels as most of the people are tourists and signs are not visible. The hotel is centrally located with beautiful view, but you can’t swim as the view is a port and you have to drive to the nearest beach. Plenty of places to eat with variety of different menus. The apartment is a 10-minute walk from the beach. 5-10 minutes to the nearest supermarket, pharmacy, etc. by car. Very quiet and calm atmosphere in the town, maybe because we were there in the second half of October. An induction stove, refrigerator, washing machine, bicycles are at your service. The house is perfect if you want to stay in a quiete area in Porto Cesareo. It's not in the center, but the walk into town is easy. In the house you have all facilities to cook a meal and eat breakfast/dinner on the terrace. The beds are super! My husband who's a bad sleeper, slept like a rose.
