upon arrival, I was treated unprofessionally by the staff and informed that my reservation had been moved to another hotel without my consent. This hotel was 20 minutes away from my original choice, and it was much older and less comfortable. The noise levels were extremely high, making it difficult for me to sleep. Additionally, I experienced severe itching throughout the night, which suggests a cleanliness issue in the hotel. This affected my comfort and well-being, making my stay completely unacceptable. I paid for a hotel that was completely different from what I originally booked, and my experience was extremely disappointing. Given these circumstances, don't reserve again due to the poor service, lack of professionalism, and the unacceptable conditions of the hotel.

It is evident that the property was a family house before and therefore it was well equipped with necessary accessories all around the flat. There were free parking spots nearby. It wasn’t a problem for us but it should be noted that the flat is on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator in the building. The hosts were extremely kind and provided us with range of recommendations and also inquired about how we are and what would be our plans. It really felt like they were welcoming us in their actual home. They showed us around the apartment. There was minimal language barrier but this didn’t cause any problem as we could understand what the hosts were saying.

Nice little town... a bit grubby, but like so many Sicilian coastal towns... and so much rubbish on the side of the streets leading into and out of town A good selection of restaurants, a fantastic cocktail bar right on the Marina called Cellaro... highly recommend this place for Aperitivo.

Seems a more working town with port and tower blocks in upper town but there is a good brach and pedestrianised main street full of bars and restaurants , we grabbed the last un reserved table at one and watched town passagiata.

It is a good spot for Business travellers. If you travel for lesure time there is Not really anything to Do there. I went to Agrigento there is a lot to See. If you just need a place to stay for the nicht it is perfect

Montalbano fans will like to visit Porto Empedocle as there...

Montalbano fans will like to visit Porto Empedocle as there is a mural of Andrea Camileri and a bronze statue of 'Montalbano sono' in front of the pizzeria on the Main Street. When in Porto Empedocle, a visit to the nearby 'Scala dei Turchi' is a must.

Nice restaurants, good food, nice prices and nearby beach, I would avoid staying at the apartment we booked called Gocce Siciliane Apartments. Embellished photos, dirty balcony, no parking for the apartment and fridge slightly bigger than a matchbox. Glad to see, in their reply, they agree the price is ridiculous.

Its really nice and quiet while only a stone's throw away...

Its really nice and quiet while only a stone's throw away from the major attractions. It has some very good places to eat out and it is very easy to get around by foot. It does have rather un-reliable public transport connections though as well as having some areas with an aweful lot of garbage and untaken care of public areas. However this is a general problem in many parts of Sicily.

We traveled 14 days around Sicily and this was the most beautiful, clean and comfortable apartment, managed by the kindest and caring host Antonino! He took us around the city to show us attractions, good restaurants and beach; helped us carrying the luggage to the room; made sure that everyday there was a lot of fresh water, coffee and milk in the kitchen and even bring us the best crossaint in the morning!

I liked everything. the room was clean. very friendly administrator. I liked that the hotel works very flexibly and you can check in quite late. Also, the employee always responded quickly to messages (even at 3 in the morning) and helped. highly recommend. I felt very comfortable there and I understand that they really care about me.

The most peaceful location and beautiful hotel, lovingly restored and decorated. The bed was super comfy, the pool deliciously cool and we had a wonderful dinner on the terrace under the stars. Breakfast the next morning was varied and of excellent quality. The best hotel we’ve stayed in during our Sicily tour. Grazie mille

The view from the location was absolutely stunning. The apartment was very larg with big rooms and a lot of breathing space. The host, mr. Calogero, was very helpful, basically providing us with great tips for our stay at Porto Empedocle.
