Ravello is fantastic. So quiet - much preferable to Amalfi. Steep. Lots of walking. A lovely village by night with some great food. Mimis is just a fantastic restaurant with excellent an menu and wonderful staff. The meals are amazing! Several small shops which have all required if self catering. Walk the back streets. Ravello is great for a small group who want a relaxed experience focused around good, scenery, and history. Be warmed there's lots of stairs, the bus isn't always easy to get, and prices can be a bit higher than other towns. There is almost no crazy traffic though, and every view is better than the last. We loved our time in Ravello so much to see and do in the Amalfi coast, if you are going to drive be mindful of the busy winding roads, we pretty much walked everywhere but buses and taxis are available and Vespa’s can be hired if your up for an adventure.Guest review byDainaAustralia - 10.0

Nice scenic spot next to the Ravello bust top to see the sunrise and sunset. Villa Rufolo is also a worthy attraction to visit. The location makes it ideal for hiking the Sentiero dei Limoni (Path of the Lemons) as it is only only a 40 mins walk to the start of the trail. The cutest city on a hill!
The cutest city on a hill! Loved exploring the city and the 2 villas near it. The only downside about staying in Ravello is getting to another city. Walking through the trails to Amalfi and Minori Beach is beautiful, but also is a LOT of stairs and walking. A taxi ride is at least 60 euro to any place. The bus is a much cheaper option, but it can be hard to find bus tickets and it doesn't go everywhere.Guest review byMichelle

They offer a free shuttle bus so when you get to Ravello give them a call and they will collect you. We walked , took around 6 mins from the bus stop. Drinks by the pool were lovely and very reasonable. Staff were very caring and kind. They give you towels at the pool for free. I would highly recommend the pizza restaurant 1 minute walk from the hotel. It's called Giuliana. Amazing food and views are spectacular.Guest review byTaraIreland

The view is one of the hero views in Ravello - which is already famous for its views. The villa is stunning - we had the huge Icarus room. We were unable to get into our preferred hotel so I chose this, hoping it would be as good, and it was indeed exceptional. Gorgeous comfortable room that had a nice balcony and featured locally made tile. Great breakfast with ocean view on the rooftop. The staff were a true highlight, providing fantastic recommendations for local restaurants, bars, beaches, and cultural events that were happening in town during our stay. Ravello is alot more quiet than Amalfi and it was nice walking around the small town. Host was very helpful with any questions. He also arranged transfers to airport. Apartment is two levels and is beautful. Has laundry for washing and kitchen dining room etc for cooking and eating. Bus stop to amalfi is just a 6 minute walk.
