I loved hiking fron Riomaggiore to Manarola! Via Beccara hike was a climb killer, but i loved it! Seafood was fresh! And water activities were fun, a bit chilly to be in the water in October, but it was still fun! Riomaggiore is a vibrant town. Loved being outside at night with the restaurant sounds and bars playing music. It felt safe to walk around on my own. Enjoyed the harbor view and proximity to boat rental and tours. Beach was nice and small and not too crowded. Ferry is right there, too. The best on the Cinque Terre villages in our opinion. Plenty of restaurants to choose from or takeways to sit in the harbour and eat plus bars. No cover charges like the other resorts we visited. Great atmosphere. The Cinque Terre is overpriced in general not just for food/drink but also the tourist tax/ train tickets/ walking trails etc. but as long as you know this it is a lovely place so you need to tick the area off your listGuest review byCaroline - 10.0

Riomaggiore was a great spot for us to stay. It is a beautiful little village, with many restaurants, cafes and bars but also quiet in the evenings and mornings. I loved walking around the village, up into the hills in the mornings. There are a couple of easier walks around the cliffs with spectacular views.Guest review byAnonymous
