It was a wonderful experience. The place is amazing, really calm, and has a lovely view. All the receptionists are helpful and kindly and the breakfast has a lot of options. Furthermore, is really near to the Bologna station, almost 7 minutes walking. I loved my stay.

We are a family of four with two teenagers and stayed in a room for four. The room was not that big but we fit well. The bathroom area was very functional. The housekeeping did a great job and cleanliness was good. The staff was in general very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet, with a large selection of items, that is served in the rooftop bar/garden area. A special shoutout to Walter and Joshua for fantastic service and friendliness at breakfast which made the start of every day great! The CC Palace Hotel has a perfect location within a short walk from Termini station and close to many sights such as the Colosseum, Forum Romanum, Fontana di Trevi et.c. It is located on a side street from the busy Via Nazionale but there is no noice disturbance at all. This is a perfect hotel for a Roman city holiday.

Location is excellent. Staff are very good and rooms are well appointed. We had a problem with the bathroom basin. Staff could not rectify the problem so offered to change us to a new more superior room. They were so attentive

This hotel is very cozy and nice, and you feel it once you arrive, feels like home! Everything is so neat and stylish. The room looks brand new, so every time you come back after promenade you feel super comfortable. The staff is super friendly - from guys who welcome and check you in to amazing women who serve the breakfast. When we arrived there was a guy named Umberto - such a nice Italian man who welcomed us so warmly and recommended a lot of amazing tasty restaurants. On my Birthday they surprised me and presented me a cake while we were having breakfast. It was super nice! By the way, as to the breakfast - it was quite good and tasty. If you’ve been to Europe before, you know that a typical European breakfast is not smth really special, but I guess that this hotel has a pretty nice choice. Location is just amazing! It’s only 10 mins walk to Trevi fountain, Spanish steps; the Colosseum is a bit further, but trust me you can walk there, especially with coffee&meal stops, so you’ll not get tired. We didn’t use any public transport at all. And one more important thing- the hotel is kind of hidden in the narrow street, so it’s not noisy, that’s a great bonus I guess. So, I’m so happy that I chose this hotel. Many many thanks to the guys who work there, you’re making this place special.

Rome is special, one of a kind city, definitely worth visiting once or more in your lifetime. The only thing that bothered me were the huge crowds everywhere on the streets, especially around Trevi, Spanish Steps and Vatican. Be prepared of them. The only major point of criticism I have is the lack of clear wayfinding signage for key tourist sites. In a metropolis of this size and importance, prominent signs at major crossroads would significantly improve the visitor experience and reduce reliance on digital navigation.

We loved the location and the private garden.

We loved the location and the private garden. Rome architecture is beyond belief. You need to have patience with reading the city maps and don't be afraid to use city buses for transport. Hop on and off is probably well worth it. Be very careful for pick pockets. They are fast and professional. Try to stay clear of crowded areas where you stand shoulder to shoulder, even at street crossings. Use a money belt or fanny pack. Try to take in a concert or art exhibit. They are reasonable. Hanging out in the Piazzas at night is favorite pass time for all ages. If you are there on a Sunday, take in the main Flea Market. It goes on forever and that is the best place to purchase souvenirs. You can leave Rome but Rome will never leave you!

Rome can be impresive. At moments.

Rome can be impresive. At moments. The history, the monuments, all this stuff. But if you are looking to clear your mind and reboot yourself before returning to your daily routine, this city might not be the right choice. Similarly to Athens (where I live), navigating excessive traffic and crowds can be really challenging. The city definitely requires more "buffer zones" in order to be considered modern.
