Contact before moving into the apartment was straightforward, even outside the Booking.com messaging system. We communicated via WhatsApp, and it worked perfectly. The host was eager to fulfill every request. I am very grateful that the host put so much effort and work into making the stay comfortable. The breakfast was always prepared with great care. I didn't expect something so delicious and beautifully presented and was overwhelmed by the care the host showed.

Everything was perfect. First the host family was very friendly and welcoming. And despite the language barrier we still had a great conversation. They were very flexible and waited for me arriving (I was hiking there) in San Giovanni Gemini and gave me a lift to the appartement and took me afterwards to local pizzeria. The apartment was very clean and super modern. By Sicilian standards it was also very quiet, good after a long day of hiking! It is located very central and on the way of the Magna via Francigena.

Everything, Lisa was so helpful, she goes out of her way to help. The apartment is so clean absolutely spotless. The kitchen has everything you need, spacious lounge. Beautiful views from both terraces. I will definitely return.

Really comfortable room with access to fully equipped kitchen and complimentary coffee. Host turned in the heating to a very comfortable temperature, the bed was excellent quality as were the simple furnishings and uber hot shower. Restaurant opposite (owned by host) or close to local supermarket for provisions.

Casetta Pizziddu was so fun and different - loved our stay here. We had a long day of walking the Magna Via Francigena and it was a real haven. Plus Gloria was so lovely and helped us navigate early shop closures and pizza deliveries! The outside shower is a highlight!

The room and the common areas were spacious, comfortable and clean. The location is excellent if you are walking the Magna via Francigena. Anna and her son were excellent; very easy to contact, checkin and checkout were very efficient. She was exceptional in making our stay pleasant. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance. We had a great stay and would be very happy to stay here again.

    San Giovanni Gemini, a small town in Sicily, which is touching with Cammarata. Practically we couldn`t quite distinguish where one starts and the other ends, yet the place is quite picturesque, especially the old part of the town with their winding roads, full of charm. The food is very good, genuine, and relatively cheap. Perfect for a 3 day stay.

    An amazing town, everyone was very friendly, the host was amazing, offered all kinds of tips on where to eat/see/stay. There is so much to see within 1hr drive (Valley of the temples is 30 min) nice hiking trails a few mins away, good food (Its Italy so stating the obvious) A little confusing on when things are open, Google is often wrong. The posted photos of the place do not do it justice, it is much nicer.
