The castle/tower and grounds were fantastic. All staff were attentive, professional and friendly. The lunch and dinner menus were great and very enjoyable. Loved climbing to the rooftop of the tower and swimming in the pool(moat). Exactly the total experience we were looking for in the beautiful Tuscany region.

The staff was incredibly attentive and genuinely caring—we never felt like anything was missing during our stay. A special shoutout and heartfelt thank you to Carlo, who went above and beyond to take care of us. We booked a private dinner at their villa, and it turned out to be one of the best nights we’ve ever had. Carlo anticipated every need and made sure the evening was seamless. When my girlfriend realized she had forgotten her cardigan in the room, he immediately brought her a scarf so she could stay warm and comfortable. This level of thoughtfulness and attention to detail truly reflects the outstanding quality of service here. We are deeply grateful—thank you for making our experience unforgettable!

The staff were excellent especially Giuseppe on the front desk who went above and beyond expectations and is. Massive credit to the hotel. The hotel grounds and flowers were beautiful so well maintained and had great views. The pool was huge beautiful temperature and lots of seating with great pool bar for drinks. The breakfast was good.

    We have been to some towns and villages of Tuscany during our 8 day trip. Each of them has something for us to admire. In San Gusme you feel like go back centuries staying in amazingly well preserved medieval village. Especially in late evening when you walk home from village's restaurant through quite narrow alleys .
