The hotel is located immediately adjacent to the historic centre, easily reached by car, and with secure garage parking on site (very important in this busy town). The staff are very friendly and attentive, and the accommodation generous, nicely designed and well sound insulated. The breakfast is also generous, with lots of homemade products and the offer of items cooked specifically.

Hotel Tirreno was superb and it exceeded our expectations. At breakfast there was a great selection of choices including hot and cold options, fresh fruit etc. The pool was fantastic but there was also a free shuttle to and from the beach with free beach chairs and umbrellas. Free shuttle at night to and from Tropea and free shuttle to and from either Parghelia or Tropea train station at check in or checkout. The hotel can organise private transfers at very reasonable prices. Wonderful, friendly staff who always went out of their way to assist.

Great location in a lovely town. Underground parking for €10 was handy. Room not very big but had everything we needed. Receptionist suggested an excellent seafood restaurant 50m away. The breakfast was outstanding, croissants to die for
