I stayed with my wife and our two children for one night. The house was very clean, well equipped, and located in a charming village, combining traditional and modern Italian style. The host was very responsive and helpful. Unfortunately, we couldn’t stay longer, but we would definitely choose this place again if we get the chance.

Where to start… This has to be one of the top 3 places we’ve ever stayed! From Maria Antonietta’s warm hospitality to the spotless cleanliness, unbeatable location, and thoughtful touches—everything was truly perfect. The house is exactly as shown in the photos, nestled in a peaceful slice of heaven: right by the beach, completely quiet, with stunning skies and sunsets every evening. Maria Antonietta was incredibly responsive and generous with recommendations on where to eat, what to do, and places to visit. She thought of every single detail—even providing beach mats and sun umbrellas to make our stay more comfortable. But what truly sets this place apart is the sense of warmth and home. We genuinely felt like part of the family. Each night, we looked forward to coming back and sharing stories with Maria and Piero, who were always eager to listen and share their own. It was genuinely hard to say goodbye. We’d come back in a heartbeat—and without a doubt, we’ll be staying here again.

    I’m a big fan of wild hot springs.

    I’m a big fan of wild hot springs. For various reasons, I generally enjoy them much more than official spa resorts. And the Casteldoria Hot Springs were no exception. Here, I was able to bathe in a clean river where hot thermal waters flow in at several points—a beautiful experience. Just one word of caution: be careful not to get too close to the thermal springs themselves—the water can be hot enough to cause burns!
