The hotel is in the historic centre of Volterra, close by to many amazing local restaurants (I personally highly recommend La Vecchia Lira). The hotel personnel was very helpful in every respect - from providing an iron to suggesting the best sightseeing spots in the town. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a great view.

The accommodation is in a great location. Parking is included in the accommodation. The rooms are clean, large and nicely furnished. The breakfast is rich and delicious. The staff is very friendly. You need a car to get to Volterra. I recommend it.

Two young men are running this hotel, with a high scene of hostility and a rare touch of familiarity. We were happily surprised over this lovely gem, and will definitely both recommend this place to everyone and will absolutely come back. Stay here in this lovely little village for a more authentic experiece in the San Gimignano area and let the hotel owners bring you to the local restaurants and bars! We had a wonderful stay in Volterra. The flat was brilliant. In a historic building with high painted ceilings. Plenty of space thanks to the two large rooms. Right in the historic centre of the city. The landlords are very nice, we got recommendations for restaurants, had a good contact. Perfect . Thanks again for that.

Everything you see in the photos is absolutely true, but the photos can't capture the warm welcome, the atmosphere, and every little detail that Kristina and her family had thoughtfully prepared. We were late for check-in, and in small towns, shops close quite early. Kristina offered to do some grocery shopping for us for dinner and that was very kind of her. As a kind gesture, there were croissants and sweets on the table, along with milk, honey, homemade eggs, and jam. The bathrooms are stocked like in a 5-star hotel, and the toiletries are of high quality. The accommodation offers two bedrooms with two bathrooms and everything is sparkling clean. We spent the evening in the gazebo in the yard and enjoyed our coffee in the herbal relaxation area. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, this home — arranged with taste and attention to every guest - is the perfect choice, and I highly recommend it. I would give a much higher rating if I could.
