Borgo Scopeto is a dream from the moment you drive up the driveway. The staff are next level - if any one needs a lesson in customer service this is where you should come. From arrival to departure we were treated like royalty. We used the spa which was 5 star all the way ! We also did the wine tasting with the resident sommelier which was one of the best I’ve done. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Definitely make time to stay here !

We had a great time at Chintia’s homestay. The location was perfect and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The room was spacious and had a direct entry to the breakfast room. The porch is ideal to spend the evenings drinking wine, reading or playing board games.

We missed our designated flight, so my husband and I arrived super late. There was a lovely young lady waiting for us and she promptly called her friends to come and help us with the suitcases. All other staff were asleep. The kitchen was closed but they managed to produce for us a lovely tray of cold cuts and of course, an excellent bottle of wine from their cellar. This type of attention makes one's stays special. The wine tasting was very good, and the dinners we had were excellent. Needless to say, the scenery was spectacular, it is in a wonderful location.

We spent 3 fabulous days at this hotel. Nestled in the Chianti hills but less than 30 is drive from Siena. The room was very comfortable and quiet with excellent air conditioning. The grounds were lovely with lots of different areas to sit in, both in and out of the shade. Pool beautiful. We are in the restaurant all 3 nights. Food, service and sunset all amazing. No more expensive than other restaurants around. All staff friendly professional and efficient. Would highly recommend

The locals warm and friendly, the village and surrounding area beautiful, such a peaceful, tranquil place, perfect for relaxation away from hustle and bustle . Easy drive to Sienna twenty minutes away and so much to see and explore in the area and beyond.

    This is a great base from which to explore the Chianti area...

    This is a great base from which to explore the Chianti area if you are looking to visit the small towns and several wine producers. It is also about a 20 minute drive to Gaiole if you are in the area for the Eroica cycling event. I really like the area - the hills are covered with oak forests or vineyards, and on most of the roads you drive through a tunnel of trees and foliage. The excellent wine and natural beauty alone are enough to merit a visit, but on top of that, the area also produced some of the best artists and writers of the renaissance, including Boccaccio, Dante, Michelangelo, and Leonardo da Vinci.

    The views were stunning. Nice and quiet. Wonderful pool and very clean which was welcomed in the heat we experienced. Friendly and helpful hosts who gave us lots of information of the area and also produce from their garden. Siena only 20 minutes away. The Coop is an excellent supermarket with everything you need and more. The perfect location to escape to.

    Beautiful view on the property in general, good wine, friendly people. And also probably one of the best lunches we've had in tuscany our whole trip. The view from the pool across to siena is unbelievable and very special.
