We love Venice! This was our second visit. There is so much to see and we enjoyed just walking around and exploring! Of course, the gelato was fun! We had booked a walking tour with The Tour Guy which included San Marco and The Doges Palace and a 30 minute gondola ride. We were expecting rain, and were thrilled that the weather was clear.it was chilly though and a bit windy.i wore layers of tops and jackets. We went to Murano on Wednesday which was a fun trip and also visited the Leonardo da Vinci Interactive Museum, which we enjoyed. It was a wonderful 4 days.Guest review byJillUnited States - 10.0

We think 4 or 5 days would have been just right for seeing everything we wanted to see. With only two and a half days, we had to make some tough choices. Venice was wonderfully welcoming to my daughter - her UK Disability card gave both of us free access to every church, gallery and museum we visited. Be prepared for lots of walking.
Be prepared for lots of walking. Whatever timescale Google Maps gives you, double it to account for the crowds (and distractions if you’re anything like us!). We’d definitely recommend walking around the sites both day and night as they’re beautiful in different lights and prebook EVERYTHING to avoid disappointment. We really enjoyed our short trip to Venice. So many little bridges and streets to walk round. The waterbus direct from the airport took 1 hour 20 minutes and was only 18 euros each.
