It is nice and relaxing to stay in the old town, as well as near the centre for the train station. You see both sides of the same town and the 2 languages of Italian and French (I speak both, so this is great). I think Ventimiglia is a hidden gem - very close to both Sanremo and Menton! Excellent location for visiting nearby Italian towns and french towns are easily reached using reliable trains. We liked that Ventimiglia is very close to popular places such as Monaco, Menton, SanRemo. Day trips very easy to do. Some areas of Ventimiglia were dodgy but overall people very friendly, prices reasonable and beaches not overcrowdedGuest review bymariya

It’s close to the train station and right in the centre of Ventimiglia. For the price, the breakfast was wonderful and very welcome, I particularly liked the pot of coffee and warm milk!
