The location is unique and like nothing ever experienced. The hosts Mohammed and Faoras were extremely helpful, kind and caring for us as a family. They came collecting us by the end of the trail so our little ones (and adults) didn't have to walk the remaining 5 km through the Feynan valley - completely unexpected but so appreciated by us all. The food is the best we have had so far in Jordan - Grown in the area and full of taste and love. All in all an amazing experience for us that we will never forget. We hope to get the possibility of returning.

Great place! I was a bit scared it's only a tent, but we had a gasoline fireplace and it was warm during the night. Amazing food! Very nice view from the mountain

Everything was really lovely. The location is very nice and we had a great view from our room. The room was clean and had everything we needed. They welcomed us with tea and a nice dinner. In the morning, mousa (the youngest and great hotel manager of Jordan btw), took us for an amazing hike as well with some tea. I can really recommend this hotel!

We booked this hotel for 3 nights. After the first night in the twin room with a mountain view (the one we booked), we got an upgrade to a king room with a mountain view which we highly appreciated. This room was fabulous -tidy, spacious, the fridge, the tea kettle and the best view ever. We watched the sunrise and the sunset from our private balcony. The beds were comfortable to have a good quality sleep. The new hotel is owned by the family and all the members work together to take care of it. Upon arrival we were introduced to most of them. The family are sociable, helpful, ready to assist if you need anything. Mother (um Sohip -I'm not sure if I have written the name correctly) cooks tasty dinners with vegetables and olives from their own garden and the orchard. The surroundings are very well taken care of - the olive trees, roses, cactuses. The hotel owners have two dogs (we saw just one), very friendly cats (which will not bother you if you are not a cat person, though), two beautiful horses. During our stay we took a day trip to Wadi Ghuweir (highly recommended!!!) , an hour's drive from the hotel to Wadi Ghuweir parking lot, explored the village of Dana.

Staying at The Rock Camp was an incredible experience! The futuristic, luxury tents are beautifully designed and very comfortable, set in a breathtaking mountain landscape just minutes from Petra. The staff did everything possible to make our stay comfortable. Mr. Hazem Nabil Nawafleh was very kind. Ms. Salma was very nice and helpful. Very delicious, diverse and large breakfasts and dinners were served (Ms. Salma is a great cook), defintely worth their price.
