When you imagine that you travel to a friends who lives at the village in Europe, what would you expect? Probably village life, which is different than the one in the city. What would you expect when you travel to desert? Probably much less confortable place than you can find here at MalakoRum. Very confortable rooms, european type of toilet, hot shower (we vere there just at the end of calendar year - so in winter time). Wow and such delicious dinner freshly cooked by the hosts. The stay for us was like visiting friends who moved to desert to farm there. So we expected animals around, and we loved it. When you see beduins next the desert streets they have also animals around. So the experience from the desert life was way more much authentic then the games played to tourist elsevere. We expected and loved that touch of authenticity. Jo was very kind all the time to explain all the things we were curious about - desert life,geology, history etc. and she turn to be very rich well of knowledge. She offered us a hiking tour in the mountains around and it was unexpectedly experience with a little climbing at the top of near hill top with wonderful view. Jafar may seem to be harsh and bitter, as the desert fruit are, on the first glance. But when you let to know him a little bit more you will find the cool and broad hearted man you can love. We had four-wheeler car so we wanted to travel more in desert, but without any experience of desert ride. Jo and Jafar helped us to plan our little desert trip, just for the time we had. That trip was also wonderful experience which we would have not undergo without the help of our "desert" friends. Thank you for encouraging and helping.

The camp is very nice and clean. We enjoyed our stay very much. I advise all visitors to go here. We will definitely come back.

Abdulla and his team are amazing at showing real Jordanian hospitality . Property is new . Location is secluded . Great views . Breakfast and supper was freshly prepared. The jeep ride was well worth it . Rooms are clean and warm and even the wii fi worked decently .

Everything was fine, the location and the good reception. I thank the camp management and highly recommend it.

Thank you to the wonderful crew who did his best to make our stay beautiful and thank the photographer who made our tour beautiful and took many pictures for us that will remain in the beautiful memories and the room was spacious and we added it and the traditional Bedouin dinner is good and the session around the fire in the evening thank you to the crew❤️

We really were out in the middle of the desert, but we had every amenity we could ask for! Our “martian dome” room was too cool for school— and cool with a.c. too. Nice n’ new bathroom too! We loved sitting outside the room in the morning, on our bedouin cushions to watch the fantastic desert sun rise as we sipped our coffee. This is a great venue to see Wadi Rum’s other-worldly rock formations with a ride on a jeep, camel, or horse. On top of it all, the breakfast was excellent, and our bedouin dinner was a superb feast in the huge, central Martian. You really feel like you’re in a very far away land and time— but with really nice staff to keep everything magical!

– Our stay at the harmoni luxury Camp exceptiona from start to finish, thank you so much Abdallah for having us! Communication was great from the moment we booked. I have a nut allergy, so I wanted to make sure food arrangements would be handled safely, find out where we would park our car, as well as get more info about the activities available. Abdoullah responded promptly through Whatsapp every time he was back in the village (no signal in the dessert) and answered any questions I had and made me feel at ease. The location is AMAZING. The camp is the furthest one away from the village, so you get a substantial jeep ride to your tent which really builds up the excitement for the whole trip. When we arrived we were shown to our tent, which was bigger than we had imagined and spotless as were all the facilities. Meals are served in the communal tent, and there is so much of it and it is delicious. A particular highlight is when omar takes you out at night and digs up the chicken and vegetables that have been traditionally cooked beneath the ground. There is also a fire you can sit around within the tent, and chat, drink tea or play Uno! We booked a full day Jeep tour, and full day it was, setting out at 9.30am and not getting back until after sunset. It was one of the top highlights of our whole trip to Jordan! Our guide for the day was called omar who was very knowledgeable about the sights we stopped at and cooked us a fabulous lunch. The night before we left, omar lit a fire outside whilst we star gazed. It was a lovely end to the trip. To extend the experience even longer we decided to take a camel ride back to the village rather than the jeep. This was alot of fun and the camels are really well cared for.‬‏

We've had a really nice stay at Raja Camp, the place was just amazing, you're straight in the desert! The food was lovely. The owner knows a lot about the region as well, he is a very hospitable man. It's also perfect when you're hiking the Jordan trail, because it's straight on the trail.

It was a wonderful experience. The hosts welcomed us in a very nice way as if we were in our home. The food was very delicious and was in the traditional Bedouin way. The jeep tour was one of the most wonderful experiences. We visited the archaeological sites and movie locations and watched the sunset. It was an indescribable view. Thank you very much for this wonderful experience. I will come again soon and in the same beautiful camp. I recommend it.
