We stopped here on our way down to the Nakasendo Road. The breakfast was delicious and the woman who helped us check in was so kind. She even spoke to us in English which I never expect but always appreciate! I also liked that there was a parking lot that did not require a reservation.

great location, embedded in the beautiful nature. Staff was extremely friendly and thoughtful. We truly felt being welcomed as their guest. Property is an old farmer’s house but has super stylish design, great materials and decorations.

One of the best hotels that I’ve stayed in Japan. It’s a traditional Japanese style hotel with no shoes policy, which makes the experience even better. Super clean and spacious rooms. Amazing onsen and free soba after 9.30 PM.
