I had a room on the 12th floor. It was very quiet which aided me in sleeping well. The bathroom was good and the shower pressure excellent.

We stayed just one night at LAMP LIGHT BOOKS HOTEL Nagoya to rest before our Ghibli Park visit, and it was absolutely worth it! The hotel is beautifully designed, calm, and perfect for book lovers. We were especially charmed by the book-themed concept, it made the stay feel thoughtful and inspiring. I’m even more motivated now to improve my Japanese so I can enjoy some of the books next time! We were able to walk to almost everywhere we wanted to see in the city from the hotel. Maybe it's because we love walking, but still, the location is truly great!

The breakfast was incredible! We loved the secret doors and the private access to the viewing platform of the tower. The welcome tea and sweets were the best ones we had on the trip. Staff were absolutely incredible. We had checked out, we were waiting at the elevator and it started to rain. A staff came running with an umbrella for us.

There’s a convenience store on the first floor, and the hotel is very close to Sakae Station (just a short walk from the exit). The room is reasonably clean and has everything you need. I recommend it for anyone looking to explore Sakae.

Location is great. Close to subways, shopping mall and temples. Breakfast is great with variety of western and Japanese food. I recommend to include the breakfast option in your booking to save time to try to find things to eat. At least for the first day.
