So much better value than Tokyo or Osaka Great place to spend a day at Miyajima and return to. Very happy we spent two days here . The city is clean, tidy and well laid out. There is a lot to see and places to visit. It was easy to get around and everyone we came in contact with was helpful and kind. The Peace Park and the Museum are a must to visit. The whole area has a great sense of calmness. Miyajuma Island is well worth a visit. I honestly feel everyone should visit Hiroshima. First off, the bomb being dropped there was one of the defining events of the 20th cenrtury and the peace museum is a somber reminder to us all to never forget how horibl war is. Secondly, it's incredible to see the city that has grown up in the 80 years since. It is a beautiful city of rivers and bridges and is very walkable with yummy fod everywhere. Finally, the island of Miyajima is an easy ferry hop from downtown with its beautiful shrine and iconic torii (and tame deer).Guest review byDarylCanada

The hotel is located approximately 10- 15 minutes walking distance from the Peace museum. From there you can see the very important monuments. The whole area is a must see. The room was large, bed was very comfortable and staff were friendly. The pool area was lovely. You need to wear a swimming cap. You can purchase them there. The location is superb, everything in Hiroshima is close and the center (for tourists) is the peace park and you are there. At the other end of the peace park is the Dome, there is an observation tower that cost ¥2,200 but at the hôtel you have +/- the same view, with breakfast for ¥1,850.
