This is a very clean hotel with a nice outdoor onsen that faces the sea. There was even an outdoor tour to stargaze. We were fortunate that the sky was clear for 20 minutes that we can look at the stars. The guide was also very knowledgeable in this subject. The bar at the lobby also has free (unlimited!) drinks that is available anytime in the day. The room was huge by Japanese standards, and the view from the room was amazing, especially in the morning.

I had a good night's rest in this Guest House in Iburi, after a long hiking trek from Shimanto City. The bed was comfortable with plenty of room for my things and the facilities were neat and clean. The shared area had a homely feel to it with free hot drinks provided. Also a bar for Alcohol Drinks. No shops in the immediate area however I believe Dinner and Breakfast can be provided on request (I did not partake). I am doing the Shikoku Henro Pilgrimage and as it turned out, it was the ideal spot from which to visit Temple 38, Kongōfukuji, down the coast to Cape Ashizuri. A long trek there and back the other side to TosaShimuzu (about 15 mins away by bus) was just about doable in a day. By bicycle would definitely be easier/faster as it is relatively flat. The route has stunning Coastal Views and the Temple is impressive. The Guest House owner was friendly and kind and stored my heavy rucksack for the day so that I could travel light. Price was great value too, especially so close after Golden Week.

Rosie is one of the best parts of this accommodation. Not only her friendliness welcomed us well at the beginning, but also the talk and recommendations about planning the trip. The mosquito net is another thing that we really like.
