Even though the place is quite remote, it is spacious, clean, and equipped with almost everything we need. The owner is well communicate and provide necessary details and strict rules for staying. We were there for 3 nights and very much enjoy our stay.

A simply lovely, unique place to stay when visiting Aso-san. The host is friendly and accommodative. The price was very reasonable, and it has a excellent view of Mount Aso during a clear day, especially sunrise/sunset.

The staff was so nice and friendly, always available to help. The room was very big and we were able to have the onsen only for ourselves. I totally recommend this place.

The star gazing tour is quite incredible. It is a never-to-be-forgotten holiday memory. The experience of lying under the stars while an expert talks you through what you can see was incredible. The breakfast was delicious too and the staff had prepared a vegetarian one for me, which I requested in advance. The staff are very helpful and kind.

The public bath hours and access to next door public baths too. The hospitable staff and large lobby. Appreciate the vouchers to the public bath next to the hotel while we waited for official check in to the rooms. Aldo appreciate the vouchers offered after we checked out to have one last public bath soak before our next train took off. We also appreciated the delicious dinner and breakfast. The best buffet spreads in our trip.

The property is in a picturesque location, not too far from town and close to a great onsen. The couple who run the property as adorable and so welcoming. The place itself is quiet, clean and spacious! I would highly recommend this to traveler’s into Mt Aso!
