Absolutely everything was supplied and we evem joked that we couldn't think of anything missing. They even provided cooking oil, spices, butter and milk! The apartment was spotless and comfortable and just a short walk to a supermarket and a sportsbar/restaurant (called Scotsdale) that we enjoyed so much. Its a quiet, safe and secure plush suburb of Nairobi and only a short Bolt ride to and from the madness of the capital 😆 Thanks so much for a fabulous time Jacque and Nancy.

Amazing garden, quiet and refreshing. it is located in a condo, but the in/out of the compound was very smooth. I need to leave in the middle of the night, and also that went very well. There is also securitiy 24x7.

Our stay at Drexel House was superb. My mother and I stayed there for two nights after our safari at Masai Mara and all I can say is that it was a fantastic experience. The House is beauthifull!! The rooms, the garden all the common areas... Everything is lovely. If you are looking for a different place to relax, to connect with nature and to enjoy a pleasent conversation with the staff, this is your place. We specially appreciated having breakfast or in the garden, the swimming pool area, enjoyed the different lounges and relaxed in our nice room. We also enjoyed fantastic dinners in the place. Regarding location, it is very convinient to visit all the ammenities in Karen District: The Gireafe Centre, Karen Blixen Museum, Shopping centers or aricrafts shops, the Nairobi National Park... They can arrange you transport in the reception. All the staff is really lovely. They are very friendly people that make you feel like at home. In conclussion, if you would like to enjoy a boutique hotel away from the bussy city center, this is a place to go. I will always remember it as a wonderful experience. It is one of the best hotels where I have ever stayed.

Very friendly, welcoming and helpful receptionist! We could do early check for a small fee due to early arrival and also store our luggage for free for a couple of days while on safari. Rooms are spacious and bed was comfy. Breakfast had a large selection and was good. Would highly recommend!

This is where we stayed as soon as we landed in Nairobi. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Rooms are very well maintained and super clean. They provide all toiletries and you get hot water to bathe anytime. They have a restaurant functioning from 6am to 11pm and they serve amazing food. The location is easily accessible to all the tourist locations and cabs are very easy available. Shoutout to all the staff who are super amazing. Special mentions: Evelyne, Vivian Thank you for first amazing 2 days in Kenya🙏🏻

    Safety is the best of Karen.

    Safety is the best of Karen. It's quiet, a lot of nature, sidewalks (so good for walking/running). Waterfront mall has everything you need, CJ's restaurant are high quality. Same with Naivas markets. It might be hard to get public transport, but Uber-Bolt are in 1000s. Giraffe center and Waterfront amusement are great places to visit. The Legend restaurant is more than amazing too.

    The host really goes the extra mile to make your stay comfortable. Fully equipped apartment, including drinking water, washing machine, insecticide, condiments, great towels, awesome office chair. It's an old compound but inside apartment everything is well-kept. Karen is safe and great for walking/running around. Walking distance to Waterfront mall and Chinese superstore. I thought gym was included but my bad, a commercial gym is also walking distance (too expensive though). 100% recommended, surely be back!

    Thoroughly enjoyable stay at this self-contained place hosted by Jacque. It is clean and spacious. It also has all the amenities that you need in the kitchen and bathroom. It is within a safe and quiet part of Karen with malls and restaurants being within walking distance or a short Uber ride. Check in and check out was effortless.
