How do you rate such a place? Located in Msambweni, on the calm side of Kwale County, SawaSawa beach house is a hidden gem of the coast. Even from the inquiry stage, we got the feeling of ease, that countionued for our 10 days of true serenity stay. The hotel itself is not big, but well equipped with large spotless rooms/bathrooms, common areas where you find pool (ideal for low tide hours) and lounge areas for you to enjoy sunrise/sunset, play boardgames or just chill. Strolls up and down the beach, to the end of the reef on low tide, or through the village was pure joy..! The menu is well designed, so both adults and kids will always have smth of their taste. Feeling safe in every sense (and quite pampered to be honest), we had the opportunity to truly rest! To sum it all, with the most important note: the people make this place of what it is! Stacey, Ezekiel, the Chef and Alex are not just employees doing their best, they are genuine, kind people & we truly hope that we'll meet again ❤️

This is paradise!!! So so beautiful and in a great location. It can accommodate different groups of people; families, groups of friends, honeymoon couples etc. The rooms are clean, big and modern with smart Tvs. There are two well thought out and good sized pools. One in a place with a shade (and a slide) and the other one in the open overlooking the beach. The beach is private and clean. They have two rooftop areas where one can catch the most breathtaking sunset. The food was well prepared and inclusive. The hospitality was excellent. The staff were the cherry on top. The resort is run by Mr Kinoti, a true gentleman, who was constantly on his feet to ensure everything was running seemlessly. The restaurant staff: Juma, Albert, Bakari.... just to mention a few, were so kind and attentive. They went the extra mile to meet our needs always. We couldn't thank them all enough for giving us an unforgettable experience. Ps: The coffee is outstanding!

A beautifully crafted and decorated hotel - on an island in the Indian Ocean (17km south of Diani) - sister hotel Nomad where we previously stayed and we would say it was a more peaceful experience. The room was beautiful and spacious. Excellent variety of food and different restaurants. There’s a lovely gift shop and so many activities - kayaking, mangrove walks, yoga, diving etc or you can just relax on the beach or by one of the three pools. Sunsets on the deck are incredible. Good transfers to and from Diani - depending on the tide you will go across by small boat or tractor! Which was so fun!

Pinewood Beach Resort and Spa is located on Galu Beach and 10 km away from the Ukunda Airstrip. This boutique hotel features water sport facilities, an outdoor pool and restaurants.

A true haven of peace! The hotel Lalagalu is simply perfect! This thanks to a staff both very discreet and very attentive. The entire team is extremely polite, very caring and all this with a sincere smile continuously. A big thank you to all for this very relaxing stay we needed on arrival! You met all our expectations and even more. I also tried the lemon scrub which was a real moment of relaxation and pleasure. The masseuse was very delicate and attentive to my well being. The reception team was always very responsive and helpful with everything we needed. Finally the Chief Johan is really gifted and all our meals were so so delicious !! The hotel itself is very original very well located, 50 meters from a beautiful beach. The pool is also nice, design and clean! The pool is also nice, design and clean! Sunbathing on top and very comfortable. The room is always super clean, design and very pretty. The decor is a subtle mix of wood, cement and local materials.
