Very clean, safe, quiet, well off the main roads in a residential area. Very friendly, accommodating hotel/restaurant staff. Excellent English breakfast/coffee. Property is well manicured, medium sized pool is well maintained. Comfy, quality beds/linens. Good pressure warm water showers. Well stocked bath, shampoo, body soap, single dispensed toilet paper. Excellent market, pharmacy, ATM literally right around in corner.

The resort is relatively close to the airport, so we got there quickly. Check-in was smooth, and all our prior special requests were in place. The rooms were clean and spacious with a panaromic view of the ocean and water park. Our children were well catered for, and the themed dinners were a plus. Overall, a great family-friendly atmosphere.

Everything was perfect! The room was spacious, very super comfy! the staff always helpful and nice. The pool is so big that even if there are many guests you cannot be disturbed. Palm trees everywhere. Food was delicious. Id defenitely like to come back.

Definitely do the tour of Fort Jesus and hire a local, official guide. Be prepared that this is a largely Islamic culture. Gentlemen covering knees and women covering shoulders is a thing. Also, alcohol is not as commonly available as other cities. There is a street food tour that is fabulous. Highly recommend. Very informative.

Mombasa has amazing beaches and it takes you back in time (old town) while Nyali has stunning beaches and a different vibe. Its safe and secured, people are friendly. This was my 2nd time to visit Mombasa.

We were looking for a family holiday by the sea and can thoroughly recommend Mombasa. The apartment was on Lido beach which suited us perfectly and found a local taxi driver to take us to attractions such as Haller Park and Wild Water (water slides). The city is busy and there's significant work being done to the roads. So expect the occasional jam and some very bumby roads. In July the temp was just under 30 degrees C and there was a refeshing breeze from the south to temperate this. That also seemed to keep the mosquitoes at bay. We were pleasantly surprised to find some very good restaurants (e.g. CJ's near Wild Water - good food and good service). We didn't sample the night life nor take a safari to Amboseli - something for next time!

Interesting city.

Interesting city. Lots of attractions for visitors - a wide range of hotels, beaches and activities for people of all ages. Traffic can get crazy during rush hours so plan your movements with this in mind.

A lovely break from the hustle and bustle of Addis Ababa. Short, direct flight, at reasonable prices, perfect for a long weekend escape. Also great for seafood and delicious food that is not available in Ethiopia.

Mombasa is a beautiful city with clean beaches and streets. Was surprised by the cleanliness of the city. Excellent seafood and value for money. Enjoyed food at Tamarind restaurant. As we hired a car for our stay, getting around wasn't an issue. Just have to avoid peak traffic times. Will be definitely going again to explore the place. We felt very safe.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. I stayed for three nights and had a lovely stay, all the staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast exceeded my expectations, with tasty cooked food and fresh fruit and baked good options. The pool / bar area was relaxing in the evenings. The hotel is near city mall, which is convenient for food shopping, cafes and other shops if you need them. It is about a 20 minute walk to the nearest beach but there are other options for getting around (uber, tuk tuk).

Everything about our stay was wonderful. I’m extremely satisfied by the way the staff handles the guests, very polite, helpful and friendly. The hotel is definitely a great value for money, the location is superb, lying directly on the Nyali beach, one of the nicest beaches I’ve ever been to. The food is nice, make sure to book a room with a coast view and breakfast included. Their breakfast is very nice. DON’T forget to try their massage, the best I’ve had.

The staff are absolutely wonderful, everyone so friendly. Shower excellent, good size bedroom, nice selection of breakfast food. The restaurant is a pleasant location and a well stocked bar. 10 minute walk to the town which has a mall. Security was perfect. Mombasa had a power cut while I was there, I understand this is common, but the hotel appears to have its own generator, which is impressive.

Located 5 minutes walk to the beach,the Nyali and Carrefour Mall very close on both sides. A busy area to enjoy. Hotel has a swimming pool though we didn't use it,as we went to the beach,a beautiful restaurant/ bar area with an opening towards the pool.
