I needed a place close to Inspire Arena and found Hound near Unseo Sta. It's only a few minutes walk from the station, and there's also a bus stop to get a bus to Inspire Arena easily. There are convenience stores, shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel room itself is pretty spacious, with a double bed and couch. It has everything I need (but no stuff like shower cap, cotton buds, comb or body lotion, you can bring your own or go buy some at Olive Young on the opposite side of the road). Wi-Fi is fast too. The hotel provides simple breakfast I think (but I didn't eat there), there's also tea, coffee, drinking water down at the reception floor. You can leave your luggage there before check-in time.

I had planned on seeing different parts of the country, but I liked this hotel, so I booked it again after having been somewhere else for four days. This time I am making the rating 10, because I was quite glad to be there. I really appreciated having a safe haven to retreat to, due to hilarious travel anxiety. For this I'm thankful. (Check out my other review for general details.) What made me come back was also the breakfast. At first had assumed it would be like "meh, hotel food", but it was fairly good. As someone on a paleo diet, it took a bit of selection, but they always had something I could eat. These were not just cheap ingredients either. It says it is a three star hotel here on booking.com, and two on the sign at the hotel entrance, but it felt like a luxury hotel that to me is perfectly competitive with any other place. When checking in, the lady asked me if I need towels every day. I said every second day is enough, but I'd like the water every day. I had assumed a preference like that would not "get through" in a big establishment like that, especially since it didn't really matter. It's more effort to execute a specific preference for one room number than to just give everyone the same bag of towels. But sure enough the second day there was a bag with only water at my door. While I didn't specifically care about this, it felt nice that a request like this was being heeded in a big logistical operation like that. It gave me a sense of being taken seriously, of the hotel bureaucracy not just being a wall that you can't affect. Although I felt a bit bad about it. I would have been fine with them saving energy and just giving me the towels every day, instead of the cleaning staff having to keep track of a special request for one room. There's plenty to do in he Bupyeong area, and central Seoul is only one (albeit long) train ride away. I liked the area.

The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with all necessary amenities. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The pool temperature was perfect for early April, even with the weather below 10°C. The hotel’s convenient location near Eulwangri allowed us to enjoy delicious clam BBQ and visit a fantastic bakery. The continental breakfast was also excellent, offering a great variety of fresh and tasty options.

    It was a business trip - conference at the Songdo Convensia - otherwise I guess there was no other reason to visit Incheon. I did visit a few regional landmarks (temple and fort) which was nice, but it wouldn't have been possible without a car as public transport was not as efficient or convenient.

    We checked in around midnight and unfortunately, didn’t have the option to change hotels. The room was supposed to be smoke-free, but it clearly wasn’t – it smelled heavily of cigarette smoke and made it hard to get a good night’s sleep. The bathroom had visible black mold behind the sink, although the toilet area itself was clean. The room was a decent size, but the floors didn’t feel clean – I’d recommend wearing slippers. For a budget hotel, I guess you get what you pay for, but I wouldn’t stay here again.

    Lots of things to do in Incheon with easy access by public...

    Lots of things to do in Incheon with easy access by public transport. Has as much as Seoul without the big city attitude. While there my husband and I competed in the Incheon International Half Marathon. Caught the bus there, Had a fantastic time.

    There are many beaches, cafés, and restaurants around Incheon Airport, all offering beautiful seaside views. We only stayed for a day, but I believe the area is well worth exploring in greater depth over 2-3 days. However, I would personally recommend avoiding winter for the visit.

    I only stayed over the night because of the flight the next...

    I only stayed over the night because of the flight the next morning. Knowing how beautiful the place was, I would stay much longer. I definitely recommend staying there. Just note, that if you have a big luggage, like L size, you either have to take a subway, taxi or an airport bus. A normal bus, which is also going to the airport will not allow you to get on.

    It’s an apartment hotel and offered 2 bedrooms, spacious and comfortable for the 4 of us. It’s walking distance to many eateries and convenience stores, a big supermarket just across the hotel. Short walk to train station that takes us to the outlet mall, about 25 minutes. Hotel staff helped us book an airport transfer the next morning to Incheon airport, about 40 minutes.

    Pleasant stay at the Golden Tulip before a flight the next morning. Conveniently located next to the Metro Line from Seoul and the Airport. The hotel provided a free Shuttle Bus Service to the airport. Room was comfy and clean, and the breakfast was good. Shops, cafes and restaurants close by. Would recommend as somewhere to stay when flying in or out of Incheon Airport.
