Tongyeong is a beautiful city with lots of walks in parks.
Tongyeong is a beautiful city with lots of walks in parks. The views from the top of the cable car are tremendous but the walk down was a bit treacherous because the first 500m of the stone paved path have been destroyed by weather. Tongyeong is a charming little port city.
Tongyeong is a charming little port city. One of my favorites. It's beautiful with lots of dining options and attractions. I love the area around the port. It's a bit touristy, but if you dig a little you can find true gems. There's a great little artist area and even better, you can take a ferry to several wonderful islands off the coast. Check in and check out was easy, no fuss, no misunderstandings. Very kind staff and eager to accommodate us. Thank you! Our room had amazing views out to the islands and we were lucky with fabulous weather late in December which made it even better. Incredible location on the top of the hill overlooking the sea.
