It's a wonderful, peaceful place surrounded by nature and its sounds! Comfi room, lovely staff and all round just a perfect little oasis. The food is also amazing although I found the local breakfast to be a bit expensive compared to other places and even to other items on the menu.

Thé room was very good value for money, with hot shower and drinking water available, mosquito nets and food onsite. The staff were amazingly kind and even offered to help us by doing our laundry for free as we hadn’t had time to do it before. Excellent place to stay in deniyaya

Everything is great. Mr. Bandula, the owner, who is truly exceptional and a respected figure in Deniyaya town. If your plans include staying in Deniyaya for the purpose of exploring Sinharaja, he is undoubtedly the best and coolest guide out there who knows every single inch of Sinharaja. Their warm hospitality, home made food and the cozy atmosphere at Eco Villa truly make it feel like a home away from home. Highly recommended.

Everything was excellent from the very beginning of our arrival. We were warmly welcomed with refreshing tea. Dinner and breakfast were outstanding—everything was incredibly delicious. Where to start? Hemal is such a such a kind guy and the best host you can imagine. It’s a new hotel so I was happy to be the first client. The hotel is at the entrance of the park and besides the great and spacious rooms as well as great food made by his wife, Hemal is an awesome forst guide that spots animals from a distance away! I did both the night tour seeing loris, scorpions, deer and snakes etc. (be silent while he’s spotting) as well as day tour with a.o. endangered monkeys and a beautiful waterfall. Also, from the terraces you can spot a lot of peacocks and other birds in the front of the stay. He also helped me arrange a taxi a good price back. 200% worth the visit!

Amazing location in green area. We spotted several animals while just sitting on the balcony (including monkeys, peacocks and kingfisher). The owners are very friendly and helpful, they made our stay very comfortable.

The Location is very beautiful, situated in the jungle in a small village. The family was incredibly kind and made our stay feel like home. We had delicious homemade, traditional dinner and breakfast. The house is close to the entrance to Sinharaja Forest and they recommended us a great Guide who spotted lots of animals and showed us many ayurverdic healing plants. I can‘t recommend this place enough :)

We arrived very late at this magical place which was very close to the park entrance and they cooked us dinner, everything was delicious and the family was truly welcoming. The cleanest house we've found so far and an atmosphere that makes you feel at home.
